The 2016 Foggie Flower Show and Truck Show will be held in the McRobert Park on Saturday 20th August. Festivities will kick-off on Friday night with the very popular Football Tournament. The amusements will also be operating in the field. Children can enter our Fancy Dress Competition to win great cash prizes. We will be running a licensed bar during the evening.

The show will begin on Saturday morning and promises to bring a wide variety of attractions for all ages. The marquee, exhibiting a fantastic display of floral art, flowers, hanging baskets, plants, fruit, vegetables, home baking, crafts, Shepherd’s Crooks, pigeons, cavies and rabbits will open to the public at 12noon. With the presentation of trophies happening at 3.30 p.m. This will be followed by the Foggie Show Grand Prize Draw (be sure to purchase your tickets).

Entertainment during the afternoon will include Zorbing Balls, a performance by Aberchirder Nursery and Primary 5 Children, train rides on the Tam O’ Shunter Land Train and Highland Hussle and Line Dancing demonstrations. There will be several stalls for you to peruse at your leisure. A licensed bar will run in the afternoon, open from 1pm – 4pm.

A major attraction not to miss is our second Foggie Truck Show, with a fantastic display of old and new trucks and vintage cars not to be missed! There will be a procession of the trucks through the village at 5pm.

For the children, there will be a fantastic magician and there will be the ever popular children’s races with prizes to be won. The baby contest will be at 2.30pm.

The extremely popular SOBHD Highland Dancing Competition will begin at 12noon.

We will conclude the evening from 10pm – 2am with our popular licensed Marquee Disco dancing to Night Fever Disco.

All in all, something for everyone. We really look forward to welcoming you all to the 2016 Foggie Flower Show and Truck Show.

Admission to both the Flower Show and Truck Show (inclusive) is £5 and children (under 14yrs) £1.

Scarecrow Competition

Open to all Aberchirder Primary School Pupils

Build a life sized scarecrow and bring it along on show day to the park before noon to be judged. One entry per family. 1st - £15, 2nd - £10, 3rd - £5


The 2016 Foggie Flower Show, Sports, Marquee Dance and Truck Show will be held on Saturday 20th August, 2016 in the McRobert Park, Aberchirder.

Please note our change of show weekend date this year. It will be 1 week after the schools are back.
